Planning a wedding in Waikiki/Honolulu

I am just beginning planning a wedding in honolulu, I am looking at having the wedding somewhere in honolulu maybe on the north shore and then having the reception and all the guest stay in waikiki. Just wondering if anyone has planned a wedding in Honolulu before, and if they can suggest a wedding planner, reception venue etc.  Any help would be great!

Do you mean North Shore as in Haleiwa, Pipeline, etc? Because that's on the completely opposite end of the island from Honolulu

I would suggest checking out some of the "all inclusive" wedding packages that are offered on Oahu. They offer some AWESOME deals!

I'm brand new to the forum and  am in the exact same boat as you!  We are planning a wedding for the week of October 6-13, 2012.  We haven't booked anything, just the hotel and week off with 65 people all confirmed.  Not sure if that was the best to start with??

No wedding day date yet!!  I'll keep you posted on anything I hear too!  Happy planning!
