Carnival Sensation Bride-OOT Bags

In the beginning stages of planning and trying to decide on 2012 cruise dates Aug 19-23 or Sept 2-6 to Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas. 

 

My plan is to get married in Nassau using a island coordinator. 

 

My question is how are you all transporting the items for your OOT bags.  I would love to do them but am concerned with luggage weight and/or things breaking.  With normal travel stresses, wedding dress and my son in tow what are some suggested ways of traveling with so much stuff?

We are taking that cruise in May but our ceremony is on the ship. We are sending our oot bag supplies to the Radisson where we are staying prior to departure.
