My DIY Will you be (my bridesmaid/groomsmen) "gift w/ PICS!

Earlier in my planning we wanted to have a special way of asking a few of our friends to do us the honor of being in our bridal party.

Since I'm pretty much DIYing pretty much everything I can think of for the big day I knew I was going to DIY this project.  Eventually I will get everything put into on planning thread...but until then here goes...

 

For my bridesmaids I made them each a card and hand wrote a special message for each of them.  These are the cards that I made:

 

 

 

And for our Groomsmen, I decided a card probably wouldnt have been the best Idea so I made personalized labels to bottles of Brugal Dominican Rum.  I thought that would be fitting since we are getting married in Punta Cana, DR:

Quick question - how did you do the labels for the bottles of Brugal?

For the bottles of Brugal, I carefully removed the original label and then scanned it.  I used photoshopto manipulate it and change the text to say what I wanted it to say.  I then had them printed at Kinkos and used tombo permanant adhesive to stick the labels onto the bottle.

These are really well done! I like the cards a lot especially the bling letters! Have you given them to your bridal party yet?

Thank you lavenderlux...  The bling letters are actually stickers that I bought at Hobby Lobby.

 

I gave them to my bridal party in August and each of them loved them!  my FSIL even cried... she was surprised when I asked her, but she loved the card and the message
