Dreams riveria maya vs dream tulum

Recommended Posts

hello all,

i am newly engaged and looking at both of these resorts (Dreams Tulum and Riveria Maya) for may 2013.  Does anyone have any feedback from these resorts? Is Tulum too far away from things?

And, where do i start?  Thanks ahead of time!  i would love any thoughts!

I don't have any answers for you, but I'm looking at Dreams Rivera Cancun and Now Jade for my June 2013 wedding so I thought I would say hello! I like Dreams Tulum too but it seemed far away to travel and I have a lot of kids in my party. I'm going now to visit these two in a few weeks and I'll let you know what I find out!

I am a destination wedding photographer and I just returned from a trip photographing a wedding at the Dreams Riviera Resort last weekend and 2 years ago we photographed a weddings a Dreams Tulum which you can see on my website www.kevinhulett.com .  I loved Dreams Riviera.  Beautiful architecture and decor, it felt big and open.  Staff was wonderful, rooms were great, and beach was really nice too.  The food was amazing.  Best food at any all inclusive we've stayed at.  There were tons of great places for beautiful photos.  Dreams Tulum was great too.  It's further from Cancun.  About 1.5 hours compared to 20-30.  Which may not seem like a big difference, but it really is.  Tulum is great if you want to go to the ruins though, there's a beautiful beach there.  The beach at Dreams Tulum was gorgeous too.  But if I was planning my wedding, I would have it at Dreams Riviera, hands down.  It is a kid friendly resort, but it didn't feel like it was over run with children by any means.  Sounded like you might be worried about that.  We do lots of destination weddings, contact me if you're interested in seeing our packages [email protected].
