Thanks @@upstatekj!  The resort actually messed up and that's how we ended up with that time.  I just realized my website is wrong and the ceremony is at 6:30 and originally we were told we would have a 5:30 time slot, but the ended up booking someone else at 5pm and we didn't want to do a 4pm (to hot!).  I am just hoping it won't  be too late for everyone and everyone sticks around to celebrate, 3 more days and I will find out!!!!

Hi Ladies! I can't believe that we are already back home to reality. (I seriously already got misty-eyed once at work this morning thinking about the wedding. Not joking!) I will write a more detailed review when I have more time, but I just want to let you know that you (we) made the best decision in choosing ERC. The resort itself is stellar, and our wedding day could not have been any more perfect. The décor setup, the food, the DJ, our photographer, the fire show, the weather... everything was just as I had hoped it would be. Every one of our guests thanked us for picking such a top-notch resort, and they all had a blast at the wedding. Jessica and the entire staff are really exceptional. I'm happy to answer any questions, but as others have said, you honestly have nothing to worry or stress about. I'm so excited for you all to have the special day of your dreams like we did. :)

Congratulations!!!  So happy to hear you had a good time, I am off tomorrow morning and can't freaking wait!  We had our legal ceremony last Friday and that was so perfect, I just can't wait to have wedding #2 and celebrate with everyone!

Can't wait to read your review, I will write one upon my return next month too!

Yay @@JenniferH114! What wonderful news. I'm so glad it was the wedding of your dreams and that everything went off without a hitch. I can't wait to read your review. I'm so sorry that you're back to reality but I know you have such wonderful memories. I'm so glad we all selected such a stellar resort and your ladies' reviews gives us all the justification that we all made a great choice!

@@Sabes44 Yay! Enjoy every second of it.

Hi! After much thought my fiancee and I  just booked our wedding for next September at ERC. I know we have plenty of time between now and then, but I am a type A planner so I have a lot of questions and look forward to hearing about all of your upcoming weddings. I am going to attempt to work my way back through some of the older messages to get some info too.

@JamieCKL Yay! Congrats, I think you made an excellent choice, but we may be biased. :)

Definitely go through this thread, I guarantee you, almost all of your questions will be answered. And if not, we're all here! Have you made any preliminary decisions? Location of ceremony/reception? Trust me, I'm the same way with planning but you have so much time and it sounds like they really have their stuff together. So you're in great hands!!

We are unsure if we want to do the beach or the pier. We are leaning towards the beach, but the pier seems to give off a more private and serene location from looking at different pictures. In terms of reception, I do not even know where to start. I am reading through these threads trying to utilize all of the research that you ladies have already done. How early can you start talking with the wedding coordinator to get further information?

@JamieCKL - I started emailing Jessica last June when we were ready to book the ERC and I had our locations reserved shortly after official booking everything. We did our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the pier and reception at Las Olas and I would not have changed any of those locations. The beach gazebo is at the end of the resort, so there were people around but it's not a high traffic area. Also, walking down the aisle to the beach gazebo you have to cross a little bridge and I think it just made for a nice entrance. Las Olas was seriously perfect for us with 30 people. We had a DJ, and the fire and percussion show was performed right in front on the beach, so people lined up and sat along the edge to watch. It was even better than we could've planned. It was hot out, of course, but there was a strong breeze in Las Olas, so that helped as much as it possibly could. The décor and lighting in Las Olas fit with our beach theme, too. Honestly, I'm sure you can't go wrong with any location, though.

Thanks for the info Jennifer. We just put our deposit down on our room reservation and are waiting for the TA to get our wedding date confirmed with Jessica f(she is holding it at this point) and get a group code for our website apparently. It is all very confusing to me. I spent most of today going back through old messages and threads on here and it was super helpful. Based off of all of my research so far, I believe we will do a beach gazebo wedding, X-Club cocktail hour and Las Olas reception. We will have a small group (20 total probably), so we can not do the Lobster House. I have gotten so many ideas from this board...it is amazing! I can not wait to get further into the planning and get to talk to Jessica about all of the options. Looking forward to learning everything I can from you experts!
