Beach Suggestions in the Bahamas for a Cruise Bride

Hello! I am new to Best Destination Weddings... I am looking to get married in the Bahamas next year. I am looking at the Poop Deck, but I don't know if it the exact location I want. I have also been told to look into Sunrise Beach. I like the idea of Sunrise Beach because of how close it is to the port. I am looking for a beach with some kind of island or rocks that can be used as a natural background/backdrop. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures that could point me in the right direction?

Cable Beach is really very pretty. That's where we got married, but it is a good 25 minutes away from the port, so I don't know if that will factor in to your decision? Paradise Island has some nice spots too, and that isn't terribly far from the port. I suppose it depends on how much time you have in between your embarkation/disembark and your actual ceremony...

Cable Beach has the hotels but is pretty and Sandyport where Poop Deck is located is further west and less crowded so better in my opinion. They will both eat up time traveling in traffic (because if the new resort under construction you have to pass) Hopefully your ship is in port till the next day and you'll have plenty of time. If it's just ceremony I love cabbage beach on Paradise Island. I don't have pictures at the moment - had a nasty virus get me last night, so I have to get everything off my computer guy's hard drive this week. Also I really love the beach that's across from the caves. It has nice rocks for pictures but will make setting up chairs difficult. There is a pizza place, a liquor store and some other shops across the street and they have a parking lot. The problem with most of the beaches is access because there are no parking lots, you park on the side on the road.If you email the poop deck, from their website.
