And not surprising to me (but maybe it is to you), FOUR of them are located in Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – and are among our top picks too! All of these resorts are nice, but my problem is finding an adult all-inclusive that offers a true "island" experience instead of concrete jungles. I prefer outdoor dining with the water and beach beneath my feet. Another issue is the nicer resorts usually have boring nightlife and are too secluded to get to the nightlife offered on an island. Help! I need beach bars along the beach, dinner venues along the water, etc. Oh, and the only resort I have been to that offers even close to that is Couple's Swept Away in Negril. I adore it but want to go somwhere different.
