Wedding Attire Wording

On the information section of my pocketfold invites, I stated "Please consider wearing dressy beach attire in shades of white and khaki". I elaborated on my website to state that we were going for a "white wedding" look, and gave some examples of clothing to wear.

I used Beach Chic on my invites. Truthfully I have been getting a lot of jokes, or I guess they are kidding when they ask "What is that"?

We worded it "Resort chic" but asked specifically for no shorts.

Hahaha this reminds me of "Dallas Chic". We usually tell people that if they ask what the dress code for the gallery is

we've been playing around with words too trying to find the right way to phrase it. the phrase "no shorts, flip flops welcome" is something that keeps coming up but we can't figure out how to phrase exactly what we are looking for.

I am toying with the idea of calling it "flip flop fancy" ... only problem is, I haven't figured out exactly what that means
