I was looking for brooches to make a bouquet for my mother's wedding and I cam across this. Would be a great vintage glam bouquet for you - it sounded like you were a diy bride. You can even have these mixed with real flowers and a blue ribbon would be pretty - and your something blue.

To me this reads vintage beach. I think an awesome rsvp for you could be based on an old sign they had at the beaches. Try one of the free font websites and search for what looks like a vintage, antique font to you. Pair it with a clean, simple font and use images that reflect the beachy look (your palm tree, palm leaves, shells, ect) Then use your colors where you want the highlight, like your names, the location. If you don't do the rhinestone accents on the paper maybe use a ribbon or other embellishment that gives you a glam feel. A charm (I'm using charms because I make jewelry) buttons or brooches with an antique bling can be used as the pull to get the message out of the bottle. Ebay & Etsy are great sources for inexpensive options.

@anudrm - Lol...Sorry...when I was helping my mom I realized all I have to do is approach this like I do Interior Design - and it works. You know how everyone creates Inspiration Boards? I had an amazing professor teach me to design with mood boards and concepts and rules. True designing is done from the tip of your head to the bottom of your feet. You wouldn't like that beautiful designer dress if the celebrity had on beat up old sneakers. Same with design, if you choose an image that has the feel you want, then every single decesion you make goes back to the concept of that image. I'm thinking I could get pretty good at wedding planning with my background in design :)

Pm-ing you now! :)

Hey venus909!

I LOVE the Old Hollywood/vintage theme! I actually just designed a custom necklace for a destination wedding bride and earrings. I've included a few pics. Accessories are great punctuations for a vintage look (as well as birdcage veils) :) If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Congrats!!

Thanks!  I had to use that Burgues Script...I just couldn't find a font that would compare.  The Glyphs were hard to work with because it took a while to get it to look right, but I think after awhile I was able to get the hang of it.  I do think some letters look more goregous though.. like the G... man if only my name started with G...LOL

Nothing compares! I searched for months! I admit I'm a font addict and I steal fonts. I figure if it's online it's not that bad, not like I'm stealing from wal-mart or macys. I know it's terrible! My new last name starts with a G so I'm happy with that! But I love your J and L - yours looks proportionate - that's the hardest part for an OCD type like me. I meant to tell you if you want to add crystal bling - order on ebay, it takes a while but much much cheaper than the craft store. And I just can't believe I thought it was a palm tree all this time and it's a peacock feather!
