Excellence Playa Mujeres?

Newbie here, we are planning on getting married at the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort next Oct. The hotel has been good about getting back with us and answering our question but we are now in the negotiating phase of the process. We are going to have a group of approximately 60 guests (30 rooms) and are wondering what kind of concessions/upgrades other couples have been able to receive with groups of this size? Any help would be greatly appreciated and please feel free to message if you want.

I wish I could help you with the group upgrades, I did hear that for every 10 rooms you get a room for free.  We are getting married there in April 2012, are you getting a DJ? I am trying to decide on a DJ or speakers.

So how is the planning and negotiating going?  Are you still having your wedding at EPM? We are undecided between Iberostar Grand in Riviera Maya and EPM...any thoughts?

Hello,

We went with EPM... Less than 2 months to go!! We are so excited, I am sure either resort is going to be amazing! I just couldnt move past all the reviews on EPM, they are all so good. I already had my vision set there, so we never even questioned it.

I'd love to hear about group specials too!  We're planning for 50-60 guests.  So far Palace Resorts have ridiculously good deals for big groups but I'd love for somewhere else to have something similar.
