Help me choose a dress-To lace or not to lace?

Ladies I'm getting married in July and I'm torn between two dresses.  I've already put a downpayment on the plain one. However I found another dress that I like.  They are equally beautiful, however one is satin and the other is lace.  Is lace too  over the top for a destination wedding?  Is satin too plain and will it keep me hot?  Let me know what you think girls!

I can't see the pictures, but I wanted to weigh in. I love lace for beach weddings. The fabric is light and elegant!

Are you talking about a lace up in the back or an actual lace gown?  My gown is lace and I love it but I think I maybe biased!

Well I can't see any pics but I vote lace. Although I may be a little partial to it because my dress has lace on it

To lace, but I am biased too, since I have a lace dress with lace up back
