Spanish-themed table numbers / centerpieces

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm getting married in December in Mexico and am starting to work on my centerpieces. As of right now, we're having a total of 37 guests. I'm thinking about doing these for the table arrangement cards:

Instead of doing the standard "1" "2" "3" etc for each table, I'm thinking of having each table be a different element in spanish (luna - moon, sol - sun, estrella - star, agua - water).. but I'm having trouble finding some sort of object to represent these symbols. Anyone have ideas? I'm having a flower/candle centerpiece.. so I'd want these little symbols to be rather small.

Another idea is finding "uno" "dos" tres" etc spelled out..

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

Oh I saw these! So cute!

We are doing "uno, dos, tres" spelled out, but I do not even know if we will end up doing that for our DW (maybe just AHR - depends on guest list for DW)

Anyway, I really like the idea of the elements! I think it is something totally unique! But unfortunately I cannot help you in terms of images - just google away, I would say.

Maybe try looking at different Mayan images?

You could always take a look at the jewelry/bead section at Michael's and see if they have any charms with those elements. I think most of them will be easy to find except for maybe agua. Otherwise, I'd take a look at the rubber stamp section and see if they have stamps with those elements on them. My last suggestion would be maybe buying the letter stamps and doing the spelling out yourself. I know it's a bit of work though. They also do have letter stickers, so I guess it would just be a matter of how much work you want to do or how much you want to spend. :)

Good luck!
