Pricing for Sunrider Sunset cruise? Too much??

I got an e-mail back from Sunrider Tours with pricing for a rehearsal dinner. The price I got was $1787 for 32 people. This comes to $56 per person. This is for the private tour and it includes tax and gratuities. Is this price high?

 

I saw some of you girls get quotes for $35 and $40 per person for the group tour. Did that price include tax and gratuity? I did PM some of you for the info but thought I would post in case anyone else had any input.

 

If you had or are having a private tour what rate did you get?

Yes, I guess I should have stated that. It includes the following per her e-mail:

 

Full Service: National Open Bar (liqueur, rum, vodka, gin,

whiskey, beer (keg), margaritas, bloody Mary's, etc... no wine) and

 

Mexican Buffet (bbq thin stake, chicken kebobs, boiled vegetables,

refried beans, nachos, melted cheese, tortillas, guacamole, salsa and

fresh fruit).

I just emailed them for a quote for 35 to 40 people. I'll let you know what they tell me as soon as I hear back.

 

I know that their website shows $45 per person - but I don't believe that this is for a private cruise.

No, I don't think that is correct. We have 30ppl and it's right around 1,000 from what I remember from my contract. I did not go directly to them however; my wedding coordinator booked for us. I remember a price more around 35-40pp.

We were quoted 2670 for 50 people from Sunrider for a private cruise. I am wondering if there is some room for negotiating based on Amy's price.

The price should be no more than 41.00 pp and 50% off for kids. I just priced it.
