Grand Riviera Princess/Sunset Gala Dinner..

Hello everyone, Im having a little trouble with my gala dinner/reception for our wedding at the Grand Rivieria/Sunset Princess hotel. I was told by my WC that a buffet was available for the gala room. My Fi and I had gone over the details and pick that we wanted an Italian buffet.

Yesterday, I receive an email from the new WC advising me that they dont actually offer buffets in the gala room, only the beach party and out side restuarant provide buffets. So i was a little upset last night figuring that all these details were already dealt with when I had the other WC. So my questions to you is has any one had the plated gala menu before?? What did you have? Was it good? How is the serving size? How long does it take for the whole dinner to be served?  Any advice would be greatly appriciated

i understand your frustration because i too was told something else. I spoke to emma with my fiance there on speaker and asked her is there a min for the beach party she said no. So we were planning on doing that. Today she sends me an email telling me that i will have to pay for 40 people even tho i have 27. I wrote to her and told her this changes everything. Do you have the set menus for the gala? Can you send them to me if you do? [email protected]

I am so worried less then two weeks and i have nothing confirmed!

Is the gala room a private room. I want a private reception but i thought the only options for that were the thai beach club or a beach party?

Yes, the gale room is private. You have to have 40 ppl min. Then you have a gala menu to choose from. If you have over 40 guests defintley asked about it. Thats what im going with
