My FI's best man has informed us he will not be attending our wedding after months of him giving us HELL!!! Now my FI has already asked his brother to be a groomsmen at our wedding but now would like him to step up to best man....

 

Now with him already knowing he was just going to be a groomsmen I thought my FI should do something clever to ask him to stand by his side as his BM... (His brother already knew the situation going to with his friend and knew he may end up being the BM)

 

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

I have seen greeting cards that say, "Will you be my best man?" I don't think that's too creative though. There's also a variety of "Best Man" merchandise out there (shirts, hats, etc). Most of it is cheesy, but it could be funny to give him something like that when your FI asks him.

 

I have also seen people bake a little cake that has "Will you be my best man?" written on it in icing.

 

Do you have a wedding theme? Maybe you could incorporate that into how your FI asks his brother to be the best man.
