I meant what happened with your dress silly! I can see a whole lot was going on! So do you have a work area for on going projects or do you clean it up and put it away. I feel guilty I have an art studio/office but I end up with wedding stuff all over the living room floor because I like it in there better.

 

I love your mugs! Are they the dollar store ones? I got a couple to try but havn't yet. I don't know if I want to make them for 100 people. (That's so lazy but would one per couple be cheap) Is it not a rectangle because it's not tapered? Are you cutting with good scissors? I found if I get a new pair and only cut paper then the cutting goes very smooth. Still with good scissors I know it's a lot of cutting since you have so many projects.

 

I went looking on ebay after I saw yours. I didn't know they were plastic. I thought it said glass color. I didn't see a lot smaller than 50 from factory 21. I plan to contact them for a custom lot because I really only want them for the guys. But that's a good thing about the two ounce. Alot of the glass ones I saw were the bar shot glasses (made to look like a full shot but it's not so the bar saves money) and I don't want them.

 

I havn't looked at m&m's in like a year so obviously they've updated. I'll check it out. Maybe since then they have my colors!

It's so cool how big it is. So can you sit down in it? That fits in the BACK of your closet? Does anyone know anything about your dress or is it a surprise for everyone?

 

You should try WEN. Since I've been using it I don't need a lot of the heat when I go straight (which is part of the reason I refuse to go straight often because I don't like to damage my hair)

 

My guy lives in Bahamas - where the wedding will be. It's a half destination wedding - for my half Originally I was going to do two save the dates and two invites but now I dunno. Part of the reason was because I liked so many ideas and didn't want to pick. Plus I really want box invites and thought it would be tooo expensive to send to everyone.

 

Yes I will support you in etsy. I was looking at listings for flourish shaped tags like yours but I'd so rather buy them from you. If I were you I'd have a less expensive and more expensive option so when customers are searching your store would still come up (if that's not too confusing). I think the better your pictures are the more you can charge. If you loko at R's photos - do you see the way she add's props instead of just showing the paper product. That's what will really sell your products. I've done business consulting and marketing so I can help with listings when the time comes.

I ordered my shot glasses from eBay, of course after comparing prices. He is mad that they are plastic, oh well. The glass one's were more in a smaller lot and were only 1 ounce were the plastic one's are 2. He will be A OK!! LOL. What do you mean what's holding my dress up? Are you referring to my big ball gown at the bottom, yes I have a hoop skirt underneath, it's so cool because I have never had one before and always wondered how they got them to be shaped like that. I was amazed by it, still am. It is in the bag in the back of the closet.

I like ordering online because if gives you the opportunity to compare everything and get the best prices. I will order from multiple places if at the end I come out cheaper than buying all from one place. My mom is shocked about how great of a shopper I have become because I was not this way a few years back!

 

My hair only get's straigthened after October, I don't play with the rainy season or the summer, that's a waste of time, money and energy. It is either in a puff, nappy afro or completely twisted down. Yet I managed to straighten it last weekend and it was super straight when I tried my dress on.  It isn't too bad humidity wise up this way, this rain is no fun though, my edges look horrible! So ready to wash and go back to the naps, then you can't tell when my edges are in a nappy state because all of my hair is.

Etsy? Umm...I do? Will you support my talents? Send me customers? I don't plan to stop after my wedding, I am offering me to everybody starting at small fees.  Already have someone lined up for invitations but I don't plan to just limit myself to that.

I do have a work area - the dining room, I continously tell him that when we move (SOON, YES!!!) I will have a craft room! LOL....but I also have a little terrorizing 1 year old, so I have to clean up most of my things in the evening so that she won't get into it.  I don't have to put everything up just move it out of her reach but if I had my own room!!!!!

 

My mugs are indeed the dollar store ones, 100 people? Woosah, I would have had to take a HUGE breathe and did that in separate days, thank goodness I only have 17 guests, so 19 people total!!! It isn't a rectangle because of the shape of the mug, it is weird. All it means is that I couldn't use my paper cutter, I had to actually use sisscors, I have a good pair, separate pairs actually, I just hate cutting!!!! I couldn't cut a straight line if my life depended on it. I must have missed those days in kindergarten because I truly suck at it.

 

They do have some glass one's also, that lot was for 24, which would have been perfect but they are only 1 ounce. Who wants to take a 1 oz shot?!?!?  So I went ahead and got the lot of 50, which are plastic, and they are 2 ounces. It's a $ difference. So now I have extra, versus having the 'right' amount and forbid I break some in transport, then I would have been short.

 

What is weird, I didn't even try sitting down in it, so I have no clue! I'm pretty sure it's possible with a little imagination.  I'm going to be like Scarlett O'Hara and have my dress perched up in the back when I go to sit down anywhere, LOL. It is all the way in the back of the closet, it's in a dress bag, no pouf.  I asked him about it when I first saw it, the hoop closes up like a duffle bag, it's really cool.  It will be a big surprise, outside of the ladies on this site, some friends who aren't going have seen it and my mother. No one else has seen me in the dress or for that fact actually seen the dress at all.  Those who know me though, know that whatever I wear will be FAR from the regular because I just can't do regular, LOL.

 

Funny thing is, I don't like to go straight. I am so HAPPY in my naps, where I truly don't care. It becomes a pain sometimes but I don't like washing, combing, blow drying, or pressing my hair. I am that dayum lazy.  I just started going to the salon, I go once every 6 weeks, mostly to get it trimmed and because of this it gets blow dried and pressed.  I have seen the infommercials for WEN, I try to stay away from calling and ordering things, I am bad in that area also.  We won't go into the list of things that I have found because of those things.

So how does that work? Are you in VA by yourself? Will he move here? Will you move there? I know I am super nosey, yet I am curious....So it isn't a full destination wedding, just you and your people have to travel. How did your family take that? I know I would have heard a lot from that. Why do we have to go there? Why do they not come here? Isn't it where the bride's family reside...blah blah blah blah

How much were they charging for tags? Yes I understand what you mean, list them so they come up on the low end and high end, so no matter what I will make a sell.  

 

We will talk - seriously - not seriously, don't want anything to be serious.  I am interested in continuing to do it though.  I just like to do things i enjoy and I really enjoy all of my paper products.  AND I have to justify why I want a letter press!!!!
