Having doubts about "Above Heavens Gate" for our ceremony...

I just wanted to tell you that thanks to Above Heaven's Gate and Rev. Captain Howie, I had the wedding of my dreams!! As crazy as it sounds, I had 4 weeks to plan for a wedding in a place where I had never been and knew absolutely not a single person there. I literally had everything planned and ready in only 2 weeks thanks to their help. I was very nervous and had to put trust in someone, right? All I can say is NO REGRETS!! And I recommend them without any doubts. Rev. Captain Howie is very kind. He made us feel very welcomed. The beach where the ceremony was performed is breath taking! And very quiet and private. We had pics done at the falls and the ceremony performed on the beach as I wanted pics of both. We used their photographer and videographer....awesome job!! They put the pics in a beautiful flip-page album dubbed with music on a DVD...would be great to show during your reception back home. We also got an amazing wedding video edited with music and Hawaiian scenery. This would also be great to show at your reception for those who were not able to attend your wedding. My friends and family ask to see the pics and video all the time, even now 2 years later.

Good luck to you and remember to take time to enjoy your special day!!

Hello...from Kansas

Was just reading about your concerns, and totally understand where you are coming from on having doubts with who you might have chose for your wedding ceremony, especially if not from that part of the country. I feel that is a normal feeling. I plan on getting married in December 2012, there are so many wedding planners you can choose from and no matter which one you might choose your gonna feel that way. When I seen Captain Howies sight, not sure if wierd would be the word I would want to use, but I liked the uniqueness of things he had to offer. He seems very up front about it all. Remembering him saying "he is not for everyone".

When we are so far from home no matter who we choose, we are taking a chance, but we will have each other and will make it a fun adventure no matter what.

Wish you the best
