Awesome!! my wc is Maria too! Did u guys do a legal or symbolic ceremony? what kind of decor did u bring with you? setup??

Did you have to ask for the wedding day time line for the guests or was that just provided? extra cost?

How was the resort photographer? Glad to hear the wedding day went smoothly!

we as well have 80+ ppl coming so set up for them will be extensive...was there any hidden charges with anything you werent expecting?? thank you so much for ur help and advice :)

Yeah we were glad this wasn't the case for us. You can use the coba side of the beach and Tulum I guess. not sure how they can control the beach area considering it's all one long strip! But the food and everything was much better at Akumal.

We had a symbolic wedding. I had brought chair sashes, wedding programs for ceremony and then chair sashes, cloth napkins, candles and candle holders, table numbers and holders, guestbook, seating chart, sweetheart table decorations.

I had ordered flower centerpieces which were very pretty!

The wedding timeline sheet was provided at no charge.

We cancelled the resort photographer and flew down our own.

No hidden charges. I had made sure to ask for a proper break down of costs. Once we got there though Maria said that we would need extra speaker (due to the amount of people we had) which was extra but that was about it.

Oh also the flowers were beautiful!!! I will post pictures tomorrow.

@Ellia123 It sounds like you had a beautiful wedding! I'm actually leaving tomorrow and getting married on Friday so hopefully things go as smoothly as they did for you!

I was wondering who you tipped and how much you tipped them? I'm thinking, the WC,  the bartender, wait staff, and the band anyone else I'm missing? How much for each?

I tipped the WC, the main guy in charge on the wedding night and others tipped the bartender themselves. We didn't have a band. I was so distracted, I didn't even see who was filling up the buffet and doing things around the wedding.

@@Ellia123 wow sounds amazing. I'm just working with Linda right now. Did you get assigned Maria once you got there? Also I got the wedding dj app as well, did they have the proper hookups for an iphone 5? What did you do with all the decorations you brought down, did you bring them all back. I am so glad your hair turned out well, that is a major concern for me.

Linda was super nice! really liked her. I had Maria all along but they all helped out at some point.

I don't think they have the iphone 5 connector to charge (if necessary), you should definitely ask.

I brought back everything I had taken.

The lady Marivel who did my hair was excellent, I showed her a picture for 3 seconds and she knew exactly what she was doing.

yes we had an iphone and it worked fine.

we cancelled the mexican trio because it didn't flow with our music and night at all. I organized the music for the entire night myself.

I made the appointment approx 3-4 weeks prior including the appointment for the trial. I did it at Coba.
