I've updated this thread with some recent reviews.  Please remember to get your name added to the bridal roll call, write a review when you return, and show off your beautiful pictures!!!

This truly does help future brides.

Thanks!

Trisha

Attention new and returning brides... please don't forget to write a review when you come back!  This information is invaluable to future brides :)

Also send me a message if you'd like to be added to the bridal roll call so you can see who is getting married near your wedding date!

Thanks!

Trisha

Wow what a great thread, thank you so much for all this.

We are thinking of having our wedding here, I am just confused with the legal side of it all. In the TA brochures it says you need to get your birth certificates translated into spanish and on the Mexican embassy website it doesn't mention this, although it does say in some areas you don't need your birth certificate at all. Does anyone know what the crack is at this resort? Any advice on this would be muchly appreciated. If anyone has had any experience on this how did you go about getting the translations (if required)? I should probably mention we are from the UK, I don't know if there are different requirements for US & UK citizens? Confused!!

Thanks

Hi, I am from the UK and do not have to have any documents translated. I just need to show my passport and tourist card (which you are given to fill in on the plane) and you have to have blood tests in resort. From what I can gather, if you were adopted, have been divorced or have changed your name you will need to get certain papers translated but if you let your wedding coordinator know if this is the case they will tell you exactly what you will need to do.

Hi fraggle 42

Thank you, that clears that up. I think that is where I was getting confused. We have never been divorced although my fiance has been adopted so I guess we will probably need to get the adoption cert translated then. I am just trying to weigh up whether its worth the hassle having a legal ceremony (which we would prefer) or to save money, time etc and have the symbolic ceremony.

Thanks again.

Good morning Bahia Brides!

The spa list has been updated with the most current spa list and spa prices, along with the emails for the spa.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Also, just a reminder, I will be at the resort in three weeks.  If there is anything you'd like a detailed photograph of or more information on, please let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks!

Trisha

Thanks Trisha! Actually - now that I think about it...if you could possibly (if its not too much trouble) get some pics of around the main pool area at Tulum - I'm trying to decide if its worth bringing lanterns down or not - I want to make sure there's plenty of spaces to hang them

Also a few shots of the beach location at Tulum too! more specifically from the ocean looking back to the beach ?

Thanks!!
