Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just got engaged and we have decided to book a catholic royal wedding in Gran Caribe, I would like to hear from past brides who got married there for tips and advice, I would also like more options as far as outside vendors to see my options as far as sticking with the hotel or using other vendors for florists, photography, entertainment, travel agency, etc.. ANY INFORMATION IS USEFUL at this point i haven't even started the planning process...;/

p.s. i dont even know where to start, I just have my date booked...

Thank you and i can't wait to hear you! love.gif

HI! I was recently married at The Royal In Cancun this past June! I had my catholic ceremony at the chapel in Gran Caribe Real and the reception was on the beach at The Royal......It was PERFECT and everything I could dream of!

Here are a few links to existing threads on the hotel.......and feel free to PM me with ANY questions! I'll be happy to assist!!!

It might be easier to send me a list of questions?? =)

BTW----when is the big day????

Congrats Lilian!

What a great choice! We looked at the Gran Caribe because we also are doing a Catholic ceremony! I REALLY loved the look of the chapel. Our AMAZING photographer has done a couple weddings there. Check out these slide shows:

Danie + Nicolas (Catholic ceremony)

Giselle + Joesph

Hopefully this helps! I always like looking at these for ideas and inspiration for our own wedding. Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
