Who organizes the bridal shower??!

Hey ladies,

 

I was just wondering who is usually the one to organize the bridal shower?  Is it usually the mother-of-the-bride and the maid of honor? Or do the bridesmaids help out too?

I don't think there is a certain person who organizes it.  I know my bridesmaids (I dont have a maid of honor) are all helping organize it with help from my mom and my future mother in law.

I don't have a MOH just 2 BMs. My bridesmaids live out of state. My mom and FMIL aren't big on girly girl shower stuff, but my aunt offered to host it, so I took her up on it!

I know for mine it'll be my MOH and also my MIL. I am sure all the BM's will help but those are the 2 who are taking lead.

I am not having a bridal party so my mom and future MIL are hosting the shower

I would like to know the answer to this also. I have 1 MOH and 10 bridesmaids so maybe it can be everyone pitching in

My MOH is fabulous!! She will be 100% the person in charge!! I had a lot of picks on who to have as my MOH and I know some people including my sister were hurt that they were not and are only a bridesmaid but everyone is acting very mature about it!! But I am glad I chose who I chose.. she helps me out with everything planning wise and she even made herself her own cinder to keep herself updated on my wedding!!
