Advice on Finding a Wedding Coordinator in Oahu

Hi Everyone! Just kick started the planning process and now in search of a wedding coordinator on Oahu. I've reached out to several coordinators and each have promptly responded with loads of information/advice, etc. I've also tried to do as much research as the internet would allow on each to see what people are saying about their experiences with them.

 

Question is, what should my deciding factor be when choosing? Some make themselves out to be these "star" wedding planners who have featured articles in popular wedding magazines on weddings that they've done and (of course) they charge a premium for their services. Others hardly have anything written about them online, but is this necessarily a bad sign? How did you girls choose? Does anyone have any recommendations? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

I planned my entire wedding myself and hired Dianna from Hawaii Wedding's and Events as my "day of wedding" co-ordinator. She was fantastic, very professional and responded very quickly to all emails. I can highly recommend her to plan your Oahu wedding.

I recommend Above Heaven's Gate, if you search Google, you'll find them easily. That's my opinion, please don't "jump".
