Help! Trying to decide on a resort

Hi all!
I am planning a wedding for April 2012 and I am having a tough time deciding which resort to pick. I have it down to 2, Melia Las Dunas and Sirenis La Salina. It would be really helpful to get information from people who have actually been there and got married there. I am wondering about things like the beach, wedding location for the ceremony, the resort photographers, etc. Any information would help, I'm completely lost.

Hello!  I just booked my destination wedding @ the Melia Las Dunas for April 2012. It looks like a great resort with a few ceremony locations to choose from! You should check out the facebook page named "Melia Las Dunas Brides" There is so much information from past brides & brides to be!!

I am also looking at a wedding at the Melia Las Dunas.    I have stayed at the Sirenis La Salina though, and I did like it too.  It's very big, at the Sirenis, and much more basic resort.  The Melia has a better beach, in my opinion, and some more options for weddings, whereas the sirenis is very basic.

 

My first choce for my wedding is either the Paradisus Varadero, and second choice is the Melia Las Dunas.  

@oceanlove12 - that facebook page is the best!!  I am on there too, great photo's and advice, that this forum is a bit lacking for that resort.
