After much deliberating...I went right in with my wedding dress, and I'm so happy I did. It was fine! I put the dress in the tub afterwards, and most of the sand fell out. Then I hung it, and it took about two days to dry. Looks fine now. :)

I just came back from a wedding un Punta Cana last week. We planned on having the TTD for 2 hours 6-8 pm. Keep in mind the sunset times are different. Back home, it is much later. We assumed sunset being aroun 7-730 would give us ample time of my dream light I always love shooting in. However, it got dark FAST. The sun also set the opposite side of the ocean so it was even darker. If I could do it again, I would have planned it from 5-7 ending right BEFORE sunset to get all that scrumptious light

We did one hour, but that hour went by fast!!! If you want to do underwater stuff (not just like....splashing in the surf or getting waist deep) I'd definitely plan on two.

It also depends on where you're having your shoot. If you're going off resort, you're going to need to talk to your photographer and see if travel time is included. If you're having the shoot at your resort, it will save some time.
