shoes before the dress?

Just wondering if anyone has bought their wedding shoes before buying their wedding dress. I bought my shoes and have a dress in mind but I have not purchased it yet. Am I alone on this one?

nope, you're not alone. I bought my shoes waaay before I even figured out what kind of dress I want. Made it easier to decide on the dress.

Shoes way way before the dress ;-)  which I started with Badgley Mischka and ended up with Christian Louboutin.  It helps to take your shoes with you when you try on dress so that you can "get the feel" and look.  I love shoes, and I actually buy shoes before clothes TeeHee

I do the same thing!! I always start with the shoes, they make the outfit :

I bought a pair of shoes before I found my wedding dress and when I did find my wedding dress the shoes no longer worked.  At first I was a little sad but then I realized it means I get to buy another pair of great shoes and keep the first pair!!
