I am sorry to hear about your Beyond the rack experience.  mine was not good either.  I bought one of the white cocktail dresses that day and received email notifications every few days for weeks that said my order was on track.  Then suddenly it was cancelled. Pretty disappointing, but now I am kinda glad since you didnt even receive the right sizes.  scammers!

 

Be sure to not only return but complain to them as well!

I do this for a living and was a destination wedding bride myself. I see too many brides sweating the small stuff. You'll enjoy your wedding "experience" a lot more from beginning to end if you only worry about the things that really matter. I've seen so many brides cry over shoes (really it's all the stress, not the shoes themselves). Those same shoes end up kicked off on the beach, kicked off under a table, and worn for all of 5 minutes. Try to let go of the things that won't matter in the long run... For your own sanity

Try not to sweat the small stuff.. and if it gets to the point of you wanting to snap, if it is not too important to you for them to be matching, maybe tell them they are on thier own and they can pick out there own shoes like i did.. I just decided to pick my battles..

Shoot ladies, that sucks! My experience with BTR has been great so far. Do you think they covered up the sizes at BTR? I think they are the middle- men - they get their merchandise from distributer and then they sell it. Either way, really shitty. Definitely complain. I hope they fix this up for you!

So sorry that your BYR experience was not good!  Have you sent them an email or anything yet to let them know what happened?  I'm interested to hear their response since I see sooo many things I want to buy from there.  Makes me nervous about that!!

Well so far there reponse has been send them back if they don't fit.  Well the medium fits all of the girls perfectly and the large well its just huge.... So my plan of action now is to send them all back and ask that they only be sent back if they are able to provide the 4 mediums that I ordered otherwise I want a refund on my CC since its not like I just decided we don't like them. They did not fulfill the contract on there side.  I really do like the dress and hope that they are able to get the correct sizes for me. Fingers Crossed!

I was stressing out today and had to remind myself to keep calm....

 

There are so many last minute guests adding on. Its not that i mind that we will have more people or anything like that but its the fact that we are so close now and most of my planning is done for favors, OOT, my BUDGET, organized seating, the resort etc.....if it were two people SURE no problem but we are talking like 8 and counting...so many of the last minute deal shoppers. But the worst part is that we are finding this out through the TA and the guests arent even telling us so when we mention it to them they are telling us they thought it would be a "nice surprise"....i think some people dont get that you are still planning a wedding. Its not just a trip down south. I need to know these things! LOL oh well there is my rant....if i have all these extra people and not enough OOT or favors i will just politely apologize to these guests and move along with my trip and wedding! Keep calm and carry on!!!! LOL

Thanks Jenn!  My biggest concern is that if I don't keep pushing for shoes there will be NO SHOES! We were doing their outfits as their gift but at this time I am thinking they will jsut get the dresses because I can't be bothered anymore!  I totally agree not to sweat the small stuff but I know the one will be on me in January asking what we are doing for shoes.... *sigh*

We decided we are not covering our BM's shoes or dresses as i bought each of them a coach bag, barefoot jewelery and Hair flowers.. so we decided that they can get thier own shoes and dresses. Same with the shoes... I was thinking that they could all get the matching shoes as they have matching dresses, however none of them could agree on ones they liked... i have one BM who is quite picky and a bit of a princess so to speak..( same one who is complaining about everything she can with the dresses.. and has yet to order hers..) so she couldnt agree on shoes..

 

To make a long story short, in the end i just gave up,, told them That i no longer care what shoes they wear.. and they can pick out thier own shoes. That way they will each get what they want and i don't have to be stressed about it.

 

I know it is frustrating Tori... and sometimes i wonder too why i chose to have 3 ladies in my wedding party haha... but at the same time i love them all and would not have it any other way.. i dont think... lol

OMG Janet I would be so annoyed..... If I didn't have enough OOTs (wont be bringing more then guests I know about) I would just so... ohhh sorry your "nice surprise" cost you a seat and a favour HAHA just kidding!!!!
