Yes, I think the grey will be fine. We have similar colours :)

Are ivory shirts hard to find in normal stores? We haven't shopped at all for this yet, but will prob. go look this weekend.

I'm going to try to get  the pants now, because in the winter they might have a lot more wool/heavy weight fabrics. And I know there are a lot of summer sales going on now :)

I never thought of the white shirts beside my ivory dress.   My ivory dress isn't even as ivory as I had hoped, I almost thought it was white until I put my white flip flops beside them. They didn't look hideous almost don't even notice.

I will have to take my son's white dress shirt today and put it up beside my dress and see what I think.

My fiance wanted more of a grey/beige but I ex'd it since we already bought my son's top.  Kid's clothes move fast so didn't want to miss out - the shorts I wanted for him sold out so I had to have them shipped within the states then go and pick them up there!  I would think I should match my son's and the wedding parties tops.

haha so much to consider hey?

At the end of the day I don't think anyone would ever notice and/or fixiate on that in pics, etc.  They are so focused on you.   But that's my two cents.

My countdown is 5 months 27 days until our wedding date....   a little less until we leave for Mexico!

I actually just did a search of this on the website, ivory and white together, and brides posted pics and they looked fine.

I am not going to think about it again!!!!

good to know! It probably depends how ivory the dress is. Some ivory looks almost yellow but it seems like your dress is pretty close to white so it should be ok. I always keep having this picture in my mind of my dress being more yellow than it actually is. I'll have to look at it again :P

I agree.... my friend just married in DR, so I went on Facebook to look at his pics.  He wore a white top and I would assume her dress might almost have been champagne. It was clearly not white or ivory and it was highly noticeable there. But again, I was specifically look for this and didn't notice it the first time I viewed their pics.  I probably wouldn't want that much of a contrast  but all in all it was fine.

OK, please tell me I am not alone..

Am I the only one who is a little annoyed that our Canadian dollars are being converted to US dollars when we pay for our wedding?  I mean, I may lose close to $1000 because of this GRRRRRR

I have considered converting to peso's in Canada and paying cash BUT, that is a heck of alot of money to bring with me.   Credit Card is probably the easiest but that exchange rate kills me.

Anyone else thought of this?
