Well you've inspired me to get my butt in gear after I write this crazy expensive super irrelevant exam today and tomorrow (yes, I should be probably cramming last minute info in right now, but my brain is fried!). I'm a chronic student as well- I'm in my 10th year of university education wacko.gif If you're ever around the UAH or RAH stop in to say hi! :)

The top looks amazing, It seems that once the trailing orchids are added it takes away from the beauty and elegance.

Thank you :D

Yeah send it to him and if he likes it, I can give you the name of etsy seller. From what I've heard Petawawa is way better than Brandon (I've never been to Brandon and I really hope I would not have to), at least it is definitely warmer here. :D It is pretty good to raise kids and good for people who love outdoors.

Happy planning!

jreist- You are full of amazing ideas, and you are really on top of this wedding planning business! And this is all while you're in school? My goodness, you put me to shame on how much I've accomplished, and my wedding is less than a month after yours.  How long have you been planning for? Did you live in Lister? Haha, I try to only remember the good times there...

kat2012- I just looked through your wedding pics and planning thread- absolutely gorgeous! Your cake topper made me smile- if you don't mind, I'd like to send my FI a picture of it.  What is Petawawa like? Last I heard, I think it may be an option for my FI's next posting.

I got my bridesmaid dresses from the Bay (Southgate) for $97 each. BCBGeneration.

I got the veil and flower addition to the dress at Delica (where I bought the dress). Veil was about $200 and the flower was about $75. There are swarovski crystals in the center of both, and they are Sara Gabriel brand.

I've also been wondering about tanning!!  Good to know about the spray tan.  I know absolutely NOTHING about tanning - I'm very pale and burn easily.  I do want to have a bit of colour for the wedding, but I'm not sure what to do!

I also want to look tanned for my wedding but I didn't want to fake and bake. Unfortunately I am fake and baking...but this is the last time. I bought really good tanning cream than does tan your skin a bit too. It really increases the tanning process so you don't have to go as much.

IMO I wouldn't spray tan for a destination wedding unless you are getting married the second day you get there. The tan tends to fade after a couple of days and starts to look blotchy. Plus I felt like the tan settles into your skin lines (not creases, as long as you use the barrier cream properly, you can avoid this) making my hands look old. Plus, if you are starting with non tanned skin they will recommend that you go with a lighter tan rather than a darker tan to avoid an unnatural look. So you end up with a 'glow' instead of a tan. And spray tans don't smell the best and they recommend no shaving after to prolong the tan. All that being said all of my spray tans have looked good initially(hands aside) and I never looked orange.
