Hi Canadian Brides, I'm new to the site so just trying to figure out where to find info. We are meeting with Flight Centre's DW group in Vancouver today to get some ideas on where to go. Does anyone from Vancouver have any recommendations for Travel Agents of DW Coordinators that I should try contacting? Thanks for your help!!!

Hi HIGHLY recommend using Blue Petal Weddings, we're using them and have been working with Keine Dennis who is amazing and a lifesaver! She acts as our TA and wedding planner, so she deals directly with the wedding coordinator at our resort, which takes a lot of confusion and questions off my plate. They're in Vancouver and have been great dealing with getting our group booked (54 people) on time and have dealt directly with all of our guests, again saving us a lot of stress answering questions, etc.

We have brides all over North America but yes, we "The Petals" are based in Yaletown in Vancouver. Anyone is welcome to come by anytime and have a chat anyone on my team. We love visitors and have an amazing espresso machine!

 

We are actually hosting a "Destination Wedding Event" on the evening of Nov. 29th and will have representatives from Real Resorts, Dreams, Zoetry, Now, Secrets, Occidental Resorts, Palace Resorts, Le Blanc Spa, Hard Rock Resorts, Barcelo Resorts, Air Transat, Sunquest, and more, plus local wedding industry support such as photographers and make up artists. Would any of you know where to purchase "reasonable" priced drawstring sports packs?  I have a few single male guests that I need to make OOT bags for and I just don't think the jute tote bags will cut it.  Looking for 6-8

 

This is what I was thinking of, but not looking to have them personalized.

As a side note, in the very early parts of my dw planning I was in touch with Fight Centre's wedding department and they totally dropped the ball and do not recommend them at all. I have friends who have worked at FC and they have all said go elsewhere when it comes to your wedding.  FC is good in terms of booking a regular holiday, but the are totally inexperienced when it comes to weddings. 

 

Save yourself some stress and call up Blue Petal ;-)

Looking for these too norma!!! I need probably 4 max! How much are you looking to spend, we got "pricier" ones for our groomsmen.... they are addidas (or nike or something) with a zipper front closure!  I may just pick up more of those if we can't find them for the $1-2 price point I am looking for!
