Hi Ladies!!

Just wondering if anyone else is looking into this resort or booked to be married there? Other than one review I found, I'm having a tough time finding much recent wedding information on here.

Things don't change much in Cuba. When I come to the same hotel 5-7 years later, I find the same people, food and everything else most of the time.

Congratulations!! Have you been able to find much information regarding there weddings and whatnot?? I have had the hardest time finding weddign reviews other than 1, it's a real pain lol

We are 27 booked and counting for Melia Varadero April 2012. We are very excited..I found this site to be helpful along with Tripadvisor. Also, the solmelia site offers alot of information. I am looking for a local photographer right now if anyone can help me with that.

Are you interested in sharing a photographer?  Did you find anyone local or are you considering bringing your own at a lower cost?

Congratulations!! would love to hear your review and see some pictures if you dont mind!!! This is one of our top choices I'm just having such a hard time deciding. We've got it narrowed down to 2..one in mexico which is a hair cheaper than cuba (some of our family is "scared" to go because its "dangerous" -as if the town we live in isnt dangerous...there are multiple driveby shootings all the time) and melia varadero. Waiting till teh FI gets home to pick his brain about what he thinks and hopefully decide within the next few days so I can get a move on invites!
