Favors and/or Placecards?

Is anyone doing favors and/or placecards for their DW wedding? I am having 40 ppl, and feeling that it is not necessary.... Perhaps simple placecards, but not favors since I am giving an OOT bag.

I am doing placecards, but probably not favors. I think that the OOT bags are plenty.

We're doing placecards - probably small bottles with peoples names in them. We did message in a bottle invites, so we thought this would be cool. No favors, just the OOT bags.

yes, I am doing favors and OOT bags, but we are not doing placecards.

We did simple placecards that I bought from Michael's and wrote people's name on them in gold ink. I added a little sticker of a gerber daisy in the corner as well. On the inside of the placecard I wrote the table number...

 

This was really simple and inexpensive so if you do decide you want to do placecards this could be the way to go...

I just realized that I have NO pictures of our placecards at the wedding! That makes me sad.

 

Anyway, I did these really cool candles with everyone's name on them. It's been fun to go to people's houses since the wedding and see that almost everyone has their's sitting out somewhere.

 

In this picture, it's the one on the right. There was one for every person. Ignore the one on the left- we didn't use it. Unfortunately, they looked wayyy cooler actually out on the tables, and the finished product had a different font. But, here's the general idea:

Actually, my placecards are going to be my favors. I'm using colorful luggage tags as my placecards. Guests can use them on the way home. I'm also doing OOT bags as well.
