For all Edmonton-area brides, I just want to throw out the option of going to Urban Bride Delivered (www.urbanbridedelivered.com) for your wedding dress.  Check out the website and the Facebook site for more information.  But the gist of it is, the owner operates a bridal consignment store out of her home.  She has hundreds of dresses in all different styles and sizes.  I went last night and found a dress I loved for a lot less than it would be in a regular bridal boutique.  If you're trying to save a bit of money on your dress budget and you don't mind buying a previously owned wedding dress (although some of her dresses are also new), then this should be the first place you look.  Also, this would probably be a good option if you're thinking of selling your wedding dress.

 

This is the dress I bought.  It hadn't been altered from its original state, and I don't think I will be doing much to it.  Maybe adding a halter strap or cap sleeves.
