I did a quick search of sky lanterns on ebay and there are a ton of sellers from Asia and they are available for under $1 each, including shipping! Not too shabby!

Also, anyone know how those come shipped?? Trying to limit my luggage if possible and it'd be nice if they came flat

 I can confirm that mine were shipped flat! They all came individually wrapped in a plastic wrapper.
