Sky Lanterns!

@kellygrrrl - I see my response didn't show up! To answer, there was NO WIND in Cabo, which made it perfect for lanterns (and so, SO hot!). We did ours right on the beach, on the resort property.

got it, thanks. I'd be curious if anyone has tried this in a more windy situation? I realize that if the sides are being blown in, the lanterns won't have enough hot air to lift off the ground but am unsure what the breeze is like elsewhere (specifically playa del carmen in may).

OMG! I don't even know you and I almost cried watching that!!! What an AMAZING ceremony, did you write that or was it provided?  Your officiant did an absolutely amazing job and I love how the videographer incorporated it into you video!

WHO was your videographer?! Are they exclusive to los cabos or can I have them in dominican?! What an amazing video!!!!!!!!  Your wedding looked absolutely stunning, I LOVED your colours and your whole day looked perfect.  You obviously considered every detail and it is so nice that your videographer was sure to capture all of that as sometimes it goes by forgotten and all these months are not remembered!!!

 

Congrats on your wedding, would love to see wedding pictures too

Hahahah Tori you are adorable!!! So sweet, thank you!!!

 

Greg and I wrote our ceremony, using passages we researched online, and fro the girls on here at BDW! Reverend Marco is very well known in Cabo. The video doesn't really show how funny he is, too! He did a great job, and was nearly crying, too, as I walked down the aisle! 

 

I used Floataway Studios for our photography and videography. They are based out of Los Angeles, California, and are available for travel worldwide. They truly captured the day! I will post photos soon (my discs are in the mail as I write this!). If you're interested in taking a look at some of their work, check out their website @ www.floatawaystudios.com
