Jewel Dunn's River Resort or Secrets Wild Orchid (Ocho Rios or Montego Bay)??

I'm getting married November 2012, and am trying to decide between Jewel Dunn's River Resort & Spa (previously Sandals) in Ocho Rios, or Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay! Both have very different "pros". Both are beautiful...Secrets is close to the airport, and the Jewel Dunn's River has great great attractions being close to the Falls and a Dolphin lagoon. Does anyone have any recommendations or reviews on either of these hotels??

I would appreciate all the info I can get!! :)

I haven't come across any current BDW brides who are having weddings at these 2 resorts. Have you checked out TripAdvisor.com reviews, plus their Travel Forums on Montego Bay and Ocho Rios? Both Secrets and Jewel have a lot of reviews on that site (I know because I had researched both extensively for my recent Jamaica trip!), and you'll find some TripAdvisor travelers who had weddings or honeymoons there. My FI and I visited The Jewel Feb of this year. When he proposed in May we decided on Dw that night and had 10 ppl booked at the Jewel within a week. We are getting married there 11/11/11. I cant say anything about the other place but our room at the Jewel was sooooo nice. We had two bathrooms. Two ocean view balconies. A really nice mini bar in our room. The surrounding area was really safe. We left every day. The food wasn't fantastic but oh well. The fact that it is AI is awesome for a wedding. That way ur guests know what they are spending for the most part. We had a fantastic time. Happy planning.....
