Was just wondering what some of your reasons for choosing this resort are.  I like the fact that they do private receptions and doesn't seem like other resorts do, or maybe at a totally outragious price.Would love to hear your thoughts:)

Dear Heather: You will find alot of options IN Cancun that can sell you flowers not all of them are good or formal ...I will get you alist with the flowershops (GOOD and Punctual). My concern is that when you contact them sometimes their english is not very fluent.. Let me get you that list

Thank you

Heather - Have you thought about silk flowers?  I was in another thread and someone mentioned how amazing her silk flowers were from:

http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/simply-classic-creations-noblesville/website/1ee97e2791be8445.html.  She said no one could tell they weren't real and best of all she got to keep them!  Not sure how well they would pack though.

Sandy,

I was begining to think that my dream tradional wedding was not looking so great. How was i going to get all this stuff done in mexico! OMG, all my questions have been answered!  I'm looking for all of the above....lol.

I'm sure most hindu weddings are really big, but I'm estimating 25-30 ppl only. Cute and small:)

I was also wondering if there is a place big enough to have some pre-wedding fun.  I don't know how to describe it, I guess  It's a big  traditional dance party....hahaha!

Do you think i could get an indian chef? This is awesome! You are awesome!

I'm so excited!

Dear Pink Parrot:

We had tha party once for 150 people at Now Sapphire...I guess their 2 main locations worked perfectly .

I would recommend  the BEACH TERRACE  for  dancing because is concret floor, also  some brides like better the  TEQUILA for their wedding night, I guess for the roof.

It is very important that if you will have another event  beside your wedding you  ask Ramon or Anel blocked the section ...eventhough  you dont have further details they should at least block the area for you.

I also like alot the Pool Preffered area,,,it has a Bali beds  and enough area for dancing,...They rent that Pool...I love the  Bali Beds there ,,,you may use that area for your Mehndi  , I just love it.

Hi Sandy,

Maybe you could assist me with this as you have a lot of experience with the weddings at the Sapphire...I am filling out my Wedding Planning Form.  My ceremony time is for 5:00pm on the beach and it asks what time I want the cocktail and dinner reception to start, do you have any recommendations for the start times of each of them?  I would not want to go over an hour for the cocktails.

Thanks!!!!

Amy,

Not surprisingly I am at the same point as you. What I was thinking is ceremony at 4:30, should take us to 5 or almost. Then sparkling wine toast, hugs, some pictures, then cocktail hour 5:30-6:30. Then I was originally going to do reception 6:30-9:30 but I was advised it might be nice to give people a quick half hour break if they want to freshen up or grab something from the room. So now I am leaning to reception 7-10. But Sandy I would also love to hear your thoughts on this!
