And how much did you get back from Apple?

I didn't use apple.  My guests mostly booked through bookit.com.

Did any past brides recommend their cake flavor?  Or NOT recommend it?

We went with the Tres Leches.  It was great!  We also chose the cognac truffle cake for our dessert and that was even better!!!

Just got back from a week a Sapphire! My daughter's wedding was perfect! Juan Carlos did an amazing job! I have no clue how to post pictures here but I wish I did! We used the resort florist and the flowers were beautiful! I took some back to my room after the reception and they still looked great when we left today!(I passed them off to someone staying a few more days!) They did a beautiful job on the girls' hair and make-up! We took a Harmon/Kardon bluetooth speaker and it was great! We included a lazzo ceremony and the Lazzo was beautiful! We used it on the sweetheart table with the centerpiece. The officiant did a wonderful job incorporating it into the ceremony! If you can tell me how, I will add some pics!

Oh wow!!! Beautiful!

Hi Brides! Does anyone have picture of their reception at the Beach Terrace? We are planning to get married at 4om and then wait until 530 for the cocktail hour. Has anyone left a little space inbetween?

Thanks  :D

We had the cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. Had a toast on the terrace and John and Katie grabbed a few bites and then we did a group picture and family pictures. Had dinner shortly after pics were done. I took cake boxes and plastic forks and they boxed it up after the cake was cut and passed them around on silver trays for people to take back to their rooms. I had read somewhere that nobody ate cake because they were too full from dinner and dessert. They were right! Everybody took cake back to their rooms for a late snack!

We also had our cocktail hour right after the ceremony (or maybe it was about 15-30 minutes later (coming up on a year now, those details are a bit fuzzy).  Immediately after we also had the toast and then went straight to pictures.  We left enough time for the family to take some pictures with the bride and groom and then cocktail hour started.  The servers saved a plate of hors d'oeuvres for us specifically so we got to try each one.

I love the idea of boxing up the cake for later.  We were SO full from dinner I don't know how many people even tried it.

No, we have an hour in between. It will look like this:

5:00pm - ceremony at Tequila Beach

5:30pm - 6:30pm - pictures

6:30pm - 7:30pm - cocktail hour

7:30pm - 10:30pm - reception

And then we plan on moving the party over to the club to anyone who is interested.

Few questions some of you might be able to answer before I email Ramon

1. Decorations for the canopy are they cost extra? What does the bamboo canopy look like?

2. Music for the ceremony, what is easier ipod or cd?

3. Colored napkins do they cost extra?

4. Chair bows, 5$ a chair do you pay for them twice once for the ceremony and once for the reception?

5. If I am not using the photographer can  I use this money towards something else?

Someone was looking for a thank you note template. This is mine and I am more than willing to share. post-279241-0-16177100-1415301345_thumb.png
