Hey all my fiance and I have recently decided on doing a DW. I first thought we would have it on Maui but after reading other threads I am thinking Oahu might be cheaper and better for guests. I am just so overwhelmed by all the choices!

 

We know we want a beach wedding or at least a grassy area near the beach. I am hoping around 40-50 people will be there. I plan on going to a luau for our reception to cut costs. I can't decide if we should go through a resort or go through a seperate wedding planning company. I am also thinking about finding some good rental properties for the guests, and the other option is to do the ceremony there.

 

Do you think my best best is to hire a planner to figure all this out for me? I would love to be able to do it al myself to save money, but having never been there myself I find it a little difficult.
