I have ordered a dress from DHGate, babyonline.  It should be here within the month so I'll let you know how it turned out.  The dress I have ordered would have cost over $2000 to buy new and this dress is only $150.  I don't have high expectations but if comes and I like it I just saved myself a bunch of money, if I hate it I still have time to find something.

Ordering a knockoff dress is something I considered.  I did lots of research and personally know some people who have ordered wedding dress knockoffs from online sites and have loved them.  I also know a few people who have done the same and really hated their dress and ended up spending the money anyways.  I know after falling in love with a dress in a store and seeing how it was made I knew a dress online probably couldnt compare and I would critique it to death.  In the end I just ended up spending the money in the store for my dress and I'm really happy I did. I guess it also depends when your wedding is.  If you have lots of time before your wedding you could always order the cheaper online dress and if it comes and you hate it you can get the dress from a store, but then you really arent saving any money!

Well .. i personally think that wedding dresses shouldn't be bought virtually online...

Its the best day of your life.. and you want something which suits you the best!!

When it comes to jewelry you can buy those stuffs online...

But wedding dress ..  seems to be a difficult option when it comes to online shopping!!

Did it come in yet? I'm looking to buy my TTD dress (we eloped) and I can't see myself spending too much for a dress I'm really just going to wear for pictures (we're not having a ceremony or anything). DHgate looked too good to be true but sometimes they surprise you! My dad is a tailor and I asked him about issues with doing alterations on a knock-off dress, I explained that it would be coming from a factory in China - he literally laughed and said "where do you think most of our clothes come from anyway" and it's true isn't it? cheesy.gif

Still, I'd like to hear about your experience with that particular store (babyonline) at DHgate.
