For the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) brides, I am not sure what you guys are planning on doing with your dresses after the wedding but if you plan on donating it, there is a non-profit organization St. Anthony's Bridal in Maryland.  They allow brides who have a budget of $3,000 or less for their entire wedding to rent the dress and other needed items for free.

Toronto has a similar concept for "recycling" your dress.

 

It is called the Brides' Project and the get NEW dresses donated from designers as well as used dresses from previous brides.  You can buy your dress from them and 100% of the proceeds goes to fight cancer!!!

 

I think it is such an amazing idea, and a GREAT idea for any Toronto Brides who are willing to give up their dresses after the big day!!!
