I am of course doing the DIY myself :-)  I own a stationery and invitation design company so I can't imagine not doing it myself.  Who did you find to do your invites?  Just curious.  How's the other planning coming along?

At this point, I think it may be just an outer because my invites are double the cost of my budget crybaby2.gifbut they're going to be SO PRETTY.

So since you're an artist, I'm assuming you're taking on all these DIY projects yourself?

I decided to use Allison Barnhill designs for my invitations and Sproullie Designs for the save the dates. I found both of them on Etsy. When are you sending your save to dates and invites out?

You get a kick back if u book 75 room nights or 25 rooms for ur wedding. The bride an groom get 7 nights free in the honeymoon suite. I think I am using DJ Mannia email them an they will givenyou a quote. I think it was about $950 for about 4 hrs or so but try are really friendly and quick to reply to any questions. Let me know if you get any further info on DJs

Hi Brides,

I'm new to the board, but have been reading posts for quite some time.  After 2 months of looking, my fiance and I finally chose Le Blanc for our wedding destination location and I cannot wait! I am working with Wendy Hicks and Yesenia from Palace Resorts and still working on firming up a date, but looking in July.  Any up front advice would be helpful since I'm new to this process.

How soon did everyone send out their save the dates? We were originally going to get married in November and have moved it up a few months so I feel behind!  I saw the passport ideas from Sproullie Designs and really liked that idea to give people information and gauge who would actually be coming.  We are thinking we will have around 40-50 guests.

For those that have picked packages yet, could you please share which and what the reasoning was?  That will be the next step in my process.

Thanks,

Molly

Jaclyn - how exciting! We are planning on doing both at Le Blanc (ceremony & reception) since our guests will be staying there, looking at the 6pm timeframe now so we have some pretty shots during sunset and it's not as hot.

Have you (or anyone) hired a photographer?  I love Elizabeth Medina's pictures, but she's not available in late July because of vacation. I'm looking at Del Sol now.
