I talked to the Wedding Coordinator at Le Blanc and she stated that the Colin Cowie Wedding Collection will be available @ Le Blanc for Fall 2012.

That's crazy.  I'm interested in doing the Colin Cowie package that is $4500 and Palace Resorts said that I could not   What is the name of your weding coordinator at Le Blanc?  Hopefully I have the same one and they allow me to do it, I should be assigned one by the end of January.  I'm guessing that a lot of questions will be answered then.  Thanks for the info.

I like the purple wedding collection from Colin Cowie. With the Colin package I wouldnt have to do a lot of extras. Oh well. I guess i need to get back to my planning and seeing if its worth me bringing the stuff over myself or just going thru the vendors they have at Le Blanc.

Just a quick tip. If you know anyone who is a member at palace resorts make sure you book the wedding through their membership. When we first started the wedding process we received mixed information from weddings, membership and Le Blanc. Luckily we kept investigating and it seems they have solidified the membership program lately. We were able to get the rooms for our guests for slightly under $500.00 (double occupancy) for Le Blanc in July 2012. We checked with various travel agents and the groups department and they could not come close.

 

Make sure you tell them you want to book through the membership.

 

You get all the current promotions and incentives plus additional ones because of the membership including 20% off the packages.

elizabeth his one of the best photographers in the area, she is amazing and worth the price, be prepared good quality is not affordable by just anyone, good luck and Cheers in your search!

Yesterday, we found a fabulous photographer named Elizabeth Medina.  Has anyone heard of her or used her to give an idea of price rates?  What packages did youguys book and do you know if we are able to jazz up our design a little bit more than what the resort is doing?  FYI - I am a graphic and interior designer so if any of you have questions in those areas, feel free to ask.

Hey ladies... I made  a post here with a quick tip and suggestion. It seems the post was deleted and I am not sure what happened but it is important information. I was able to book my wedding through a member and it allowed us to get great rates for our guests. So if you know anyone who is a member at palace resorts make sure you book your wedding through their membership. Please keep in mind it is never to late to try and go this route. We were trying TA's and group rates but the membership rate was the lowest.

Just to clarify : We were able to get rates slightly below $500.00 per night for double occupancy for July of 2012. So it comes out to be $249 each person per night. I received a few pm's asking for clarification.

Just booked my trip to visit Le Blanc Feb 2-6th, I can't wait to see it in person!!

 

Is anyone doing a welcome dinner/cocktail hour/rehearsal dinner before the wedding? Have you been able to book it prior to have their wedding coordinator?
