We used ourweddingday.com to create our free wedding website.  It has worked out pretty well for us, we used the electronic STD from the website and added a hyperlink to our wedsite.  What's nice about it is that people are able to RSVP on the website.  We asked for a preliminary headcount so that we can get an idea of who was interested and/or able. Also, another great thing about the site is that it collects their addresses so that we can send them the formal inviations when time.
