Long time no talk!  How is your planning coming!?? Less than a month to go, you all must be so excited!  What are all of your plans for decorations?  I am bringing down a ton of stuff...Hoping my new WC doesn't have a problem putting it up for me.  Anyone else working with Jatarzi?  How has she been getting back to you?  She asked me to send my checklist back ASAP, but hasn't' answered my questions I had on it.  Can any of you tell me what flavor cake options you have for the flavor and the filling?

Hello all,

 

I will be arriving in Cabo two weeks from today and very excited.  Far as Jatziri, she has basically stopped responding to my e-mails.  I sent her an e-mail two weeks ago which she responded to over the past weekend.  She does not follow up well. The service I have been receiving since the last WC left has been horrible. I am not sure if Jatziri is overhwelmed but I am going to see if I can find someone else to contact.

 

Kary, she finally replied to me regarding the lanterns for the reception. She said they charge $3 per lantern to hang! That's ridiculous!!

 

I will keep you all posted on any new information I receive over the next two weks.

hope the planning is going better now for all of you! seems like you guys are ready to go!!!  So exciting! 

 

It’s ridiculous the fees they charge to do little things like hang lanterns…its so silly how they nickel and dime and juice everything they can out of you when you already purchased a package..i understand them wanting to for some things, but now it’s just getting insane.  For that I would say, no way, how about I keep the 3 bucks and get someone I know to hang it for free? HAHA Im sure they wouldn’t go for it… L

 

Please ladies, keep in touch with the threads and share your experiences and pics with all of us. Its amazing to see how everything goes for each and every one of you…and its also good to know who to watch out for with the wedding coordinators!!

Do any of you know if there is a dry cleaner on site or nearby where you can have your dress cleaned after TTD session?

they apparently have dry cleaning services and i assume they send it out to another location for cleaning. It probably would take a few days...

Jatziri finally responded. The dry cleaner is off site and the cost is around $125.

Ladies:

 

I was just wondering if you guys are going through the same thing I am…Seems like everything we had prices for on the extras list, has gone up…and a lot…at minimum 20% +.  Its killing me!! Everything listed, up, up and UP some more.  It’s insane to me.  I also don’t really care for them not posting these prices either. It’s already April and they don’t have an updated list? UGH. Extremely annoying and unnecessary.  Has this happened to many of you? 

 

I was specifically referring to the DJ (with lights) and the vendor fee.

I just got back last Tuesday and the prices I paid were what I was quoted months ago. I am not sure what prices or list you are referring to but my prices did not go up.

I can't speak to the price of the DJ because I used my own ipod with sound system and lighting. I actually paid less for that than what was listed on the list I had.
