Whimsical (non-traditional) Wedding Cakes - Post Here!

My fiance and I would like a whimsical wedding cake, and haven't found one that we really love. If you have cake photos or ideas, please post. We found some that are creative and interesting, and I've posted them here!

Our colors are orange, fuschia, and plum. We don't have a theme, but the wedding is on the beach. The cake is really important to my fiance (kind of like how a wedding dress is important to us brides)!

Great cakes. I would be curious if a resort can do something like these & how they would turn out.

I agree with Sharon.  Where are you getting married redginger?  Have you seen work that the resort does?  I know many resorts only do 1 tier cakes, we got lucky and our resort does a 3 tier.  We will be bringing some decor elements to add to it but we will probably keep it simple.

All of those cakes are amazing!! I think no matter what you decide on make sure your resort can accomodate it, or consider hiring an outside vendor for your cake, if it means so much to your FI!
