White or Ivory? Advice needed!

I also think the photographer you are using could let you know because I read somewhere on here that sometimes certain colors may not photograph well.

Same here, I got the off-white dress because I just don't look good in that much white.

I think there are very few people who look better in white then ivory.  But its really up to you.  I tried my dress in white and ordered the ivory.  When I finally got it, I realized it was much more yellow in hue then most ivory dresses.  I still love it and wouldn't change it.  But if I was standing next to someone wearing white, it actually looked yellow.  My FI was suppose to wear ivory too but I'm worried that his ivory will be lighter then mine so I changed his outfit to natural color.  Maybe it doesn't bother others (having someone where something whiter then your dress) but I know it would really bother me so its really up to you. I went with Ivory, not realizing I had only tried on ivory dresses this saturday I tried on a white dress and man did I hate it!!!! I have a great tan going since its summer and did not expect to hate it as much as I did.  I think it is personal preference, try on both colours in any dress and you will be able to tell!  I got FIs shirt in white but I don't think it will be a huge issue they are not perfectly matched!

I also ordered my dress in ivory, it looked better against my skin tone for sure! I'm thinking of getting FI a white shirt, but now I need to find that thread that was mentioned above!

I feel like ivory is classic and white is more modern...whatever you choose keep it the same as your FI.  Good luck and have fun!

I got an ivory dress myself, I think it's more of a classic look and won't be blinding in the sunshine good luck! Beautiful dress!!

In my opinion, I like the ivory one.

But you'd better not put the white shirt with the ivory dress, for it indeed will look a bit dirty. hehe
