I have to ask...photos at AHR as wedding favours

I need your opinion ladies...

 

I was trying to think of what to get my guests as wedding favours for our at home reception.

I thought it would be nice to pick one of our pictures from the ceremony in Dominican (of just the two of us) and frame it and give that as our wedding favour.

 

Someone told me it was tasteless because it was like rubbing it in their faces that they couldn't be there.

I thought it would be the opposite - that they would be glad to have a memory from my ceremony since they couldn't be there.

 

Thoughts?

I think its a nice idea.  I can't imagine anyone would think you were rubbing it in their face.

I think that would be a good idea.  It saves you from mailing pictures to everyone!

I think its a great idea but make sure you pick a frame that people can use.  Honestly, I wouldn't keep a picture of someone getting married around unless someone really close (immediate family).

i think its a sweet idea! but i do agree with Evgal, that most people won't keep a picture of other people getting married if they are not super close with them. just keep it in mind that next time you go to some of these ppls houses they may not have the pic up! lol but i think its sweet

i think that is a nice idea as well, but maybe for your close family and friends do something extra
