Hi there, Great review! I am going to my friend's wedding in Varadero at the end of March and I have not been able to find anything on prices at the hair salon. I am on a budget so just curious...what did it cost for your bridesmaids to have their hair done? Thanks for your help!

We didnt use the salon for our hair - we brought down a straightener and a converter (you will need a converter for all the plugs as the voltage is higher down there - they are about $4 at walmart or c'tire.).  My freinds did my hair, and they did eachothers.  It was fun getting ready..  I dont think it would be much, as nothing costs much down there.

Thank you for the very detailed review, we are so excited for our DW at the Riu January 2014.  We are visiting the Riu this January as we travel to Cuba ever year and we love it! cant wait
