Did you wait until you got to mexico to buy the shakers? I don't think the actual name is "shaker" LOL!!! I want to get them for OOT bags but was not sure if I should wait until I get to mexico and also how much did they cost? Thank you!! Brooke

We gave our maracas out at our At Home Reception, so I just ordered them from Amols -- http://www.amols.com/catalog/medium-traditional-maracas.  I believe I called them to order 70 pairs of the orange, and I think they even had free shipping!  So less than $1 per "shaker" ;o)

 

There are a lot of people who get them when they get there, which, if you need a lot, is probably the best idea.  You can get them in playa del carmen for pretty cheap.  Not $1 a piece, but probably close.  They sell them in the resort gift shop too, but they are definitely more expensive there.
