Canada Post Strike - Starts June 2, 2011

Thought I would inform some of us Canadian girls that Canada Post employees plan on starting strike action this Thursday night. This means that mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered. Hopefully, they will reach a resolution before then.

 

I know I am kicking myself for not getting our AHR invites in the mail last week like I planned. If anyone has possible solutions, let's hear them. I think I will send a bunch with hubby to hand deliver.

Now I am really in deep water, because I am yet to mail out my invites. ooh let's see how much I can get done tonight to be in the mail by tomorrow.

I hope they don't strike. Such an inconvenience for so many people! Especially those of us with wedding invites to go out soon!

I am not impressed. I also need to send out my 1 month mailer with luggage tags etc.  Also my AHR invites and I had ordered some shapewear for my wedding dress with a low back from the USA.  I have been in contact with the company and they have not sent it yet. So I may pay the extra and have it sent fedex.

so canada post on full stike...this is very disheartening, now I better try and get all my supplies in montreal because I am not prepared to pay extra shipping

well I was still receving mail up till friday I think, and I recently order some sashes from a bride on here, not sure when I'll receive it now. It's really furstrating
